What is 3 Sticks up to?

The core members of 3 Sticks have relocated to New York City. Their original rock musical, THE TRAVELING MUSICIANS, has performed in New York City at venues like OneArmRed, Surreal Estate, Bakers' Tap, and the Governor's Island Art Fair. It was voted Outstanding Musical at the 2009 Minnesota Fringe Festival. 

UNCANNY VALLEY recently toured to Edmonton Canada for the 2010 International Fringe Festival after being featured in the Ars Nova Tragedy Tomorrow comedy series in March 2010 and Ars Nova ANT Fest in 2009. It began in the Red Eye Theater Works-in-Progress program.

We are also excited to announce that we have been selected to participate in the 2009 RED EYE WORKS-IN-PROGRESS, which can be seen June 4-7, 2009. Keep an eye on the website for more to come.

What are the Artists up to?

KATIE MELBY, co-Artistic Director of 3 Sticks, is living in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. In addition to planning for the future development of 3 Sticks' work, Katie is performing TRAVELING MUSICIANS at various New York venues and modeling for visual art schools.

JASON BOHON, co-Artistic Director of 3 Sticks, is living in Manhattan, New York. He directs frequently with New Players Company in Ridgewood, NJ, having recently directed Shakespeare's COMEDY OF ERRORS, and also teaches for a New York-based communications firm.

ANDREW LYNCH, Music Director of 3 Sticks, is living in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. He is training with BLUE MAN GROUP and was recently featured at Brooklyn's OneArmRed in an open action jam session of improvised audio/ video loop arrangements.
